HINTS FOR THE FINAL EXAMINATION (Spring 2018)

You will choose to answer two questions from the following four questions. You should answer each part of those questions, and thoroughly explain your answers and give specific examples. Those four subjects cover the following topics in your notes which we highlighted in the class lectures and review session.

• 1. Socialization topic. Study: Basic Orientations toward Government and Leaders; Political Participation Orientations Toward; Group Differences in Participatory Attitudes.
• 2. Mass Media topic. Study Television Remains a Very Important Medium Today: Review of Televised Presidential Debates- 1960, 1976-2016.
• 3. Presidential Nomination Politics topic. Study: National Democratic Party Rules Changes; Who Wins the Presidential Nomination.
• 4. Presidential Elections topic. Study all presidential general elections from 1948 up to and including 2016 (including years, candidate names, party of candidate, what factors helped them win).
